Slammed

When Layken and Will meet, right after Layken moved to a new town, it is basically love at the first sight. It does not matter that they do not know each other, because in fact it does feel as if they had know each other forever. They instantly go on a date and it honestly could not go any better. Their next encounter is when all the perfection collapses, it is Layken’s first day at her new school and to her surprise, her young poetry class teacher is non other than Will.
Due to a set of rules they are not allowed to date, but neither of them loses their feelings from one second to the next and it does not help that they are neighbors and their younger brothers seem to become best friends. The upcoming months promise to be really challenging and Will and Layken have to find an arrangement that allows them to support each other without having to fight the temptation day in day out.

From the very beginning, I absolutely loved this book! It is truly amazing how much I can rely on Colleen Hoover when it comes to writing a book that will make me fall in love with it.
To be honest it took me quite a while to read this book, but that is rather because I did not really read at all. When I read though I was practically flying through the pages of „Slammed“! It is so easy to read, so well written.
I love Layken and Will, their story is so cute, but also unsatisfying at times because they are such a perfect match that it seemed really unfair that they can not be with each other.
Just seconds after I finished reading „Slammed“, I picked up „Point of Retreat“, the next book in the series, stay tuned for my opinion on that one!
