Then again, sometimes life and love come in the way. Their relationship is young, there are lots of things they do not know about each other yet and suddenly both of them have to face the question what it really is that they love about each other and if they are together for the right reasons.

This book was pure drama and I so am down for it! I seriously loved it! I have to admit that I was close to claiming that I hate Colleen Hoover during the last like 100-150 pages, but she totally saved herself with the ending! I loved the book at all times, but some scenes ripped my heart apart!
I like the first book (Slammed) a bit better, because there was not so much drama, but still „Point Of Retreat“ gets a five star rating!
I still absolutely adore Will and Layken and getting to know Kel and Caulder better was amazing!
The style of writing is really good and sooo easy to read, I finished the book in a day.
For a couple of seconds every now and then I got a bit annoyed of all the drama and the kind of childish behavior of Will and especially Layken (she’s sooooooooooooo subborn!!), but in the end it seemed like a reasonable amount of drama.
I’m really looking forward to reading the final book of the series next!
